The mad Roman tyrant as you have probably never seen him.

Yes, I'm in the middle of a historical series kick.  Wink Pleasant bonuses often pop up from time to time.

Robert Morgan plays little Caligula in the 1976 BBC series "I, Claudius." He is portrayed as already being a wee bit diabolical and deranged - setting fires, aiding in poisonings, precocious kinkiness.

"MY boy would never do a thing like that!" As you can see, young Morgan is into the part very well -

The above picture captions are my own, of course.
I don't want to flood the thread with images of many other cute boy actors who apparently never appeared again.

Perhaps it is due to the age of this series.... but all three youngsters have a bit of an odd apparition in these caps.  Especially the blonde boy in the first pictures.

Moreover, a series on the BBC 31 years ago may not have had the best cameras and lighting either.

'Historical' caps.    Smiley

???  I tuned up the brightness on all of them, since my raw caps are usually too dark. And Robert Morgan's face really is that thin.

Thanks YA, perhaps that series will get a revival here as well, it was a big hit when it first aired all those years ago.

There seems to be a real fascination with Ancient Rome on TV at the moment...

I just discovered something called 'Roman Mysteries' on Aunty ABC, a UK kids series, it appears to have possibilities.
