Argh... another to add to the WISH list!  But I can handle the lack of English subs in this case... I understand the original!

The main reason why I'm not posting here is that I don't have time anymore. I don't have a lot of time to invest in this board, but also I don't have a lot of time to watch movies, which means when I do watch movies, I tend to go for movies that really interest me, and those often don't feature any boys. So, that means I don't have as much interest in this board.

However, I also feel like the change to the new format of the board has something to do with it. And I don't want to be overly critical, because I really appreciate the efforts of the people who are trying to keep this site going and particularly all the hard work that Quantum has put into recoding this forum. But unfortunately, the format is a bit annoying and not at all conducive to the type of threads I used to post/enjoy. It's upload more than one image at a time, and if the image is a decent size, it gets shoved into an annoying frame that you have to scroll around to see little parts of the image. That's just really off-putting and doesn't make me want to make the effort to create gallery-type posts like I once did.

On the other hand, it's true that I had mostly stopped posting anything of any interest before the switch to the new forum, so the real reason why I don't participate has more to do with time, as mentioned previously.

Anyway. All this to say that I check the board about once a week, sometimes more, and it's nice to see that some people are still posting, and I hope it means the site will stick around for years to come. I still feel that the database is an extremely valuable tool and I'm thankful that it's still here. The forum doesn't have the community feel that it once did, but that's life.

Cheers.

"The forum doesn't have the community feel that it once did, but that's life."
-------------------------------------

That's what I was trying to say, but couldn't think of the right words. I knew something was missing. That's it. The spirit that was once apparent here seems to have dwindled. That's a shame.
I'll still try to post something I hope will be interesting from time to time though. Maybe it will help spark interest. And the others who post have been trying too. At least we're keeping the ole forum going. We need some good topics.
