Even good actors sometimes choose to act in bad movies. Here are some boy actors who i thought gave good performances despite the movie being a stinkburger Shocked

Dylan McLaughlin-Kicking and Screaming
Seth Adkins-Mafia!, Funkey Monkey
Charlie Korsmo-Dick Tracy
Ke Huy Quan and Raj Singh-Temple of Doom (although I loved Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade)
Liam Aiken-Good Boy!
Josh Hutcherson-Zathura
Joseph Mazzello-Star Kid
Mario Yedidia-Warriors of Virtue, Under Wraps

Couldn't agree more with the films, "Warrior of Virtue", and "Good Boy".

Great boy actors, but the movies themselves make them impossible to watch.

Gavin Fink in "Megiddo"
Jimmy Bennett in "Hostage"

I actually made it all the way through Good Boy on the strength of Liam Aiken's performance. It's definitely not the type of movie that generally appeals to me, but I wouldn't say it was a "bad" movie if you evaluate it on its own terms. As far as talking animal movies go (possibly the most wretched subgenre ever invented), I'd say it was above average.

But it's too bad Liam didn't have a leading role in a better movie around that age. He seemed to be at the height of his cuteness and certainly was talented enough to carry his own. (I guess he was sort of the lead in the Lemony Snicket film...)

This is one of the few occasions that I totally agree with joseph.

I wouldn't call Good Boy a bad movie at all. I never watched it again, and it didn't really stick to my mind that much, but I know that I was pretty much satisfied with what I got.

I also agree that Liam had a potential  for much better and bigger movies than those he has done throughout the few years of his boyhood beauty. He always seemed to be a very energetic and strong actor easily capable of leading roles.

I don't think that Hostage was such a bad movie either.

I would agree on Godsend.

The one movie missing here is definitely North, the worst movie Elijah Wood ever appeared in.

lol.

I also never really got why so many people dis North. I really don't think it's a great movie. Not my cup of tea at all. But it doesn't seem any worse than the countless other silly family films out there. I think people are just upset because it's Elijah Wood and he's been in a lot of more serious films and they expect all of them to be of the same caliber.

It's interesting that Alex D. Linz would be brought up because I think Home Alone 3 was terrible. I love Alex and he's fabulous but those four people who played the crooks in that movie were terrible. I can't help but think that the movie could have been much better if they could have done it with the original crooks from the first two movies with Macaulay Culkin. Alex was great but those crooks in Home Alone 3 were terrible and they made the movie very hard for me to watch.

I agree with you on that gee. Home Alone 4 was the worst of all 4 of the Home Alone movies. That one was terrible for so many reasons. I also agree about Home Alone 3. It's o.k. to watch once in awhile. I love Alex D. Linz. I just wish they could have done a better job casting the crooks.
