Okay, so I know that MOST of you probably already know about this show, and that's why there's no dedicated topic.  Sure, there are mentions now and then about someone from that era (which I found through the search function), but...

I just discovered some great footage of YCDTOTV on YouTube.  Awesome stuff... if only the quality were a little better.  But, great nonetheless.

Here's one of the greatest clips I came across, though... Adam tricking his mom to get out of school.  Check it out!

Yeah I do remember You Can't Do That On Television. I loved that show. Adam was cool but my favorite was Dougie Ptolemy. I loved that kid. Amyas Godfrey and Alisdair Gillis were also very good. The whole show was great for so many reasons. The series wasn't officially released on DVD as far as I know. I've seen it on some sites but I heard that the picture quality is never really good on these and sometimes people say that the pictures look like a bad transfer from VHS to DVD. Well hosenhaus I'm not sure about bad quality of actors. I'm not sure if I even remember all of them. They had alot of different kids on that show. And to me Dougie Ptolemy was great in every way. These are great pics of him and of some of the other great boys in the show. You got all of my favorites here. It would really be interesting to hear who the favorites are of others here. I might hear some names that I don't even remember. Thanks for all of the great pics hosenhaus. Great choices for pics. So cool.   Cool

Sorry about that hosenhaus. I saw Some Actors Bad Quality Yes and got the wrong idea. Anyway, that's what I was saying about the picture quality in the DVDs. It's a shame too because this really is a great show. But hey, your pics are cool anyway.   Smiley

One of my favorite cable shows growing up.

I think my favorites were Alasdair Gillis, Jono Gebert, Kevin Kubusheskie, Kevin Schenk and Ben Schreiner (and Moose  Tongue )

Thanks for this thread, including all replies. I loved the Godfrey brothers and several others and miss seeing the show.
