Perhaps you have never heard a Boston accent.  When Matthew first came (from Texas) there were some jokes about his accent.  But nothing Bostonian at all.

[YCDTOTV was made in Ottawa.  Ontario.  Canada, that is.]

This was one of my favorite shows at the time. Thanks to all who posted for bringing back all those neat memories.  While I'd say I liked Adam, Alisdair, and Douggy most, I did like seeing more of the cast I hadn't seen much of before. My favorite quote was when Douggy was fighting with a girl on his bed, and she stops him and tells him to "act like an Adult!" and his response is so telling of our litigious minded society... "OK... You'll be hearing from my lawyer in the morning!" and he stomps off.

I found the show on Internet Archive, looks like all the episodes are there but of course they are not in HD.

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I sure wish they had just put it on DVD like "Malcolm in the Middle!" The quality would have been tops too.

It would be nice.  But there was only a single video, "The Worst of You Can't Do That on Television" with a narrator and a few scenes.  For legal reasons, the rest was never issued on video.  Back when they were doing the show, the contract signed by the kids didn't include the possibility of home video release (since such a thing did not exist then).

So all we have is fans sharing with each other.  And even that is legally questionable.
