My old hard drive got unintentionally wiped out and I lost all of my settings and data so I need to know how can I reset the Forum message font to a larger size? They are too small for me.

If you edit your profile (under UserCP), under the Options section you can choose which Forum Template you want to use. The "largefont" one should give you large fonts Smiley

With the browser I use (Opera) I have long been in the habit of setting to 'black on white' and zooming the display to 120% in order to view these forums. If or when I finally have the cataract surgery I think my difficulties will be solved.  Wink

The 'large fonts' option that Quantum mentioned doesn't seem to make a difference in my display.

Alternatively there should be a setting somewhere in your browser - I know there is in Firefox - where you can override the font settings for a site and/or set a minimum font size.

My Internet Explorer has a zoom option in the bottom right hand corner. A single click zooms to 125%.

Sorry to hear about your hard Drive K, I'm just recovering from a second major mishap in 6 months. This time it was the computer power box which burnt out, wiping out my motherboard. They sure don't make these thing to last, GRRR!

Actually Cal, my hard drive should not have lost any of my data because I did a non-destructive Windows reinstall, which is supposed to save all of your data. But it only saved 1% of my data! About three videos and 12 MP3s and that's it. Everything else was wiped out! That was not supposed to happen. Maybe it's because the computer was a 2004 model and was acting strangely for awhile anyway?

Now I'm having to start all over trying to remember what was lost and trying to find it again. Luckily many of my videos were already saved on an external hard drive but I kept putting off transferring the rest of my data and now it's too late. I won't make that mistake again.
