The 1976 movie by Burt Reynolds?!
(doesn't look like a 70s car...)

No, that definitely isn't a '70's era car or more likely an SUV.

Looks like an interesting low-budget film. Any good?

They're selling a DVD for 20 bucks, but it doesn't seem to be available for rent on zip.ca. Maybe Netflix users will have more luck.

Yes, I got it from Netflix.

Low budget is the truth.  Plus rather preachy.  DVD includes the previous short "Bubble Trouble" ... even lower budget.

Got to see Bubble Trouble: Siblings Series (2005).

Seven-year-old Gator Moore was excellent in this short film!

The film was made by his fifteen-year-old brother John Robert Moore
and starred his entire family.

Shot on a consumer-grade camcorder with a budget
of zero dollars (US).

Wish Gator would have made more films.

Runtime: 36 mins

Gator was also the star of this movie, available at Netflix.

I thought Gator was excellent in this film too.  The film was
not all that great, the plot drags along, but it had its moments.

Ace Wonder: Message from a Dean Man (2014) is essentially
a remake of Heartstrings (2007) with almost the exact same
cast.  (Principle footage for Ace Wonder was actually shot
in 2010.)
