Un Franco, 14 Pesetas (2006 Spain)

A man, out of work, living in poverty in Spain, goes to get work (illegally) in Switzerland.  Amazingly, one Swiss Franc is worth 14 Spanish pesetas.  Soon his wife and 5-year-old son (played by Iván Martín) join him.  After 5 years in Switzerland they have saved up enough money, so the parents want to return to Spain.  But the boy (now played by Tim Frederic Quast) considers Switzerland his home and Spain a foreign country.

I saw this movie with joseph when it first was released....unfortunately it was subtitled in French, so my comprehension of the film was limited at best.

I've always wanted to see it again subtitled in English.

I saw this movie? I have no recollection of it.

EDIT: Actually, the synopsis sounds vaguely familiar. It must not have made a very strong impression on me either way. I saw so many bland/mediocre movies at the FFM that they all kind of bleed into each other. IMDb doesn't help, 'cause I didn't rate it, probably because there was no profile when we first saw it.

Cute boys, though. I should've at least remembered that!
