I don't know if anybody has seen the trailers for this new series of a family that acquired superpowers after a plane crash I believe but the boy in the series is our beloved Jimmy Bennett. It is on Tuesday nights on ABC-7. Can't wait to see it.

I'd certainly check it out, but I'm finding Super Hero stuff veeery tiresome. They have way to much of an advantage over normal people.

Hot, hot, hot

You mean the football pads, of course...

And that is certainly not the hairstyle to wear under a football helmet...

If that is a recent picture of Jimmy Bennet then he's losing it!

Talking about boy superheroes, I want to know when they are going to make a Batman film where Robin is played by an actual 13/14 year old boy as Bob Kane intended? No more of these 19+ has-beens, please. Smiley

Yes, that is a recent pic of Jimmy. But yeah, he is like barely 14.

James 'Jimmy' Bennett was born on February 9, 1996 in Seal Beach, California. He presently lives in Huntington Beach, CA.

Ummmm, of course, I meant the pads. Especially the jewel padding. Or is that padding.  Wink

Even though this is a superhero or superpower oriented show it is a family show too. I like Jimmy's character JJ and he is doing a good job playing this sensitive kid that people have pushed around, put down, and underrated all his life. Now he has these powers that are finally getting him some recognition and respect including from his parents. However, he doesn't want anyone to know that his improvement in his intelligence and athletic abilities come from superpowers. He just wants to be a normal kid and be accepted by his peers and family.

Another great episode obsessing over Jimmy. Although he looks a little older now he is really small and petite for his age.

I don't think American Football costumes are very flattering especially on boys. Those weird puffed up shoulder pads look pretty stupid and make a boy's body looked grossly deformed. That's just my opinion though, not a factual statement. I prefer boys to look like boys rather than mini versions of The Hulk. I liked Jimmy's looks when he was younger but I'm afraid he's become quite unattractive in the looks department, lucky for him that he's a decent actor.
