Sorry, 'YoungArthur', if I am unable to, at least, provide a picture of the boy actors then I guess I'm not being really fair in posting any further quizzes of this nature. The name of the film was 'Outlander' made in 2008 and starring Jim Caviezel as Kainan. The plot is briefly about an alien, Kainan, (looking very human-like!) who crashes on Earth in 709AD in Norway. Bailey Maughan played Eric, a young Viking boy and Owen Pattison played Kainan's son on his home planet. Bailey Maughan was required to show his acting abilities in some emotional scenes but Owen Pattison's scenes were negligible. What struck me about the plot was how Kainan decides, at the end of the film, to stay with the Vikings rather than return to his planet. He remains in a pretty violent part of history and possessing knowledge, we must assume in computers, space travel, etc., that could alter Earth's history quite radically! Never mind it was a fair film though nothing outstanding.
