Hi all, here are some caps of the lovely Oliver Stokes from the Benidorm Christmas special. I thought his performance was brilliant, espcially the teaful ending Cry

Thanks for the caps, they are great.

Oliver is a current favourite. It's hard to keep track of this series here so I'm going to d/l this from TheBox.bz before I forget about this special.

The ending of that episode was very sad, even though I saw it coming, knowing that Geoffrey Hutchings had passed away during the year. All those tears at the end looked genuine.   Cry

Re: the tearful ending, I don't think there can be any doubt that Oliver was in genuine distress during the shooting of that. That must have been very difficult for him.He has been on the set for four years of his young life and I would say it was inevitable that he was deeply traumatised by the sudden loss of Geoffrey Hutchings. Poor old boy. I found that Christmas Special compelling but very sad to watch. The ultimate bitter sweet comedy. It must have been hellishly difficult for the whole cast, let alone the scriptwriters. Cry
