Someone on B.O.Y.S. posted a very nice gallery of caps from Baaria (2009), from director Giuseppe Tornatore, who also directed Malena and The Legend of 1900.

There are quite a number of films which I class as semi-boy actor films. These are ones where the story is about a man growing up so that the boy is only seen in the early part of the film. From the plot outline, I suspect 'Baaria' is one of these.
However, thanks for bringing this film to our attention, 'josephk', as the DVD cover certainly looks interesting.

I don't know. Considering the 160 beautiful caps posted at B.O.Y.S., I'd say there's more than enough boy content in this one for it to qualify as a full-on boy movie. It does look like the characters grow up, but maybe there are other boys who replace them? Unless those 160 caps are all from the first 20 minutes of the film. In which case that must be the best 20 minutes ever!
