The title of this Polish film translates to 'Upside down'. I can produce the names of the six main roles (all boys): Tomek Domanski, Tomek Elsner, Jurek Kocur, Robert Chrzanowski, Sławek Hajduk and Wojtek Pałka. The story begins shortly before WW II in a provincial town. Football is the main passtime for our six actors. They get involved in various adventures and minor mischief (nothing worse than breaking a window) and the kids have little worries. Then war breaks out. It literally turns their lives upside down.
Scenographer Zenon Rózewicz and director Stanisław Jedryka did a wonderful job.
In my opinion this is a very important movie. I hope that it will find a place in the BA database.
