Zoé Héran played Laura, a girl who would rather have been born as a boy. To the neighbourhood kids she poses as Michael and she does so convincingly. A little drama unfolds when her newfound friends find out that Michael really is a girl. Very tenderly filmed. There is some screen time for Rayan Boubekri, Yohan and Noah Vero, Cheyenne Lainé and a few other kids. Probably not enough to include the movie in the BA database. Here are some screen dumps from the film.

wacthed this about as week ago it was a great movie. Zoe was amazing in  her role
Laure / Mickäel . If i did not know it was girl playing the part I would have thought it was a  was boy, Anyhow i thought the movie was pretty good. I liked how you could really feel the tension of weather or not the truth about Micakel would be found out  8/10 for me.

I haven't seen this movie yet, It looks like it's well worth a look for all boys that are in it!
It looks like it might be somewhat reminisant of "My Life As A Dog", which was about a Girl passing herself off as a boy!

haha. Not exactly what the movie was ABOUT, but it was an element of the movie, that's true.

I think I will eventually see this movie... it looks quite interesting for a lot of reasons.

Two more movies with similar themes:
My friend Joe (1996)
To kill a mockingbird (1962)

Never seen "My Friend Joe", But "To Kill a Mockingbird" has always been one of my favorites, The girl was a Tomboy in the movie, But she was never portrayed AS a boy. Thanks for info, I'll look for the other movie you listed!

Schuyler Fisk (on the right) in the role of Joe. Some of the other kids have established their names in cinema.
There must be a thread on this forum, initiated by Andreas_N, containing more interesting information on this movie.
