sounds (and looks) like it could warrant a search!

Apparently also known as "Cool Kids Don't Cry" (Imdb)... no subtitles that I can find.  I guess I'll have to test my Dutch Smiley

edit: and further research would suggest that the Norwegians have secured the rights to remake this "Dutch Hit" !

I agree! His name is Bram Flick.
The older boy is Nils Verkooijen (also in Dik Trom and Briefgeheim) and then there is Amil Belyandouz, who is very nice too.

I found this film to be very watchable... not enough time with Bram, and poor Bram faces a losing battle, but he's just adorable all around.
