error message when up loading images

When I click the "Image Upload" button I get an error message.
Application Error - SecurityException - illegal URL redirect
The Ignor and Reload buttons do nothing but the Details button brings this up.
Java Plug-in 10.7.2.10
Using JRE version 1.7.0_07-b10 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
User home directory = C:\Documents and Settings\User

l:   dump classloader list
m:   print memory usage

Something's happened in the new update to Java... Not sure what the solution is at the moment (other than using the Zip File option instead).

The new Java update for Mac does not have the problem, I guess.  Maybe next time...

OK, I've done some digging around. Basically it appears to be a bug in the new version of Java - and there's nothing I can do to fix it. I did try looking at an alternative Java uploader, and that worked at first - but then started reporting the same error...

I have found a work around though:

Under
Control Panel -> Java (might say Java (32 bit))

On the "General Settings" tab, under "Temporary Internet Files", click "Settings"
Select "Delete Files", select all 3 boxes and press OK.

That seems to get it working again - but you'll probably need to delete the temporary files every time you want to use it...

Well, Apple caught up.  Updated Java on October 16 or so.  To the version that does't work with our image upload.  For Mac users' information, Apple does have a procedure to revert to the 1.6 Java plugin ...

Hm. good to know.  if I have that problem, I'll be sure to revert (idk which version I have yet... and until I try to upload, i guess it won't matter)
