The boy's articulation generally was ok, except for the punchline.

Indeed I thought I heard passport allright. The ellipsis in the other word shows that you are not sure either. I do hope it was no adult language!

Actually I am pretty sure what word (adult Language) he used. I don't like and never use that word neither in speech or writing. I was quoting therefore I put it in " " even then I still will refuse to use the F word.

He's probably in for a big surprise when he gets here - we're not as nice at the border nowadays as we look.  Anyway, I hope he doesn't hesitate to ask if he fancies a place to stay for a bit.
