Where Have All the People Gone (1974 TV movie)

Plot Summary: It's the end of the world and Michael's (Michael-James Wixted) parents are dead. He and a small group of survivors just trying to make it.

Where Have All The People Gone is a spellbinding and touching post apocalyptic film. Made for TV, this film was a pilot for a weekly serial. Unfortunately it was not picked up. Michael-James Wixted is excellent!

An icon kid actor in 70's television shows, he guest starred in many popular tv shows of that time (including the early 70's sit-com The Smith Family with Henry Fonda and Ron Howard).

Michael-James Wixted had a sad melancholy look about him that makes you care about his characters.

Where Have All The People Gone also stars Peter Graves, Kathleen Quinlan, and George O'Hanlon Jr.

Excellent cinematography by Michael D. Margulies and a wonderful musical score (love that music from the seventies films!). Definitely a must see film!

I was a teenager of the 1970's, and the disaster movie became really popular during that decade! and that's why I fell in love with disaster movies, especially if boys were in them! Grin
