Ty Simpkins' new movie, Insidious: Chapter 2, is now in theaters. I haven't seen it yet, but I did find another of his movies, Arcadia, online. It's pretty good and also features his real life sister, Ryan Simpkins.

You can watch it free here: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Are links to such sites allowed? If not I apologize  Wink As with any such movie site, you should be using AdBlock+ (For Firefox or Chrome) and never download any players or other programs, as the movies use Adobe Flash; nothing else is needed.

Thanks for the tip, I downloaded the DivX player from the stagevu site a few yrs ago and it caused problems with the PC I had at the time! so now, the only way I'll watch a movie from any of those "free" sites, is by downloading the movie itself. if I can't download it, then I guess I really didn't need to see that bad! Hmm DivX is fairly standard/stable/reliable and non-malware, but some computers are finicky  Wink

These are free movie sites that I use; like The Pirate Bay, they don't host anything themselves, they just point one in the right direction  Cool And again, to prevent a dozen pop-ups and others ads, use AdBlock+  Smiley No players are needed other than Adobe Flash, so never download anything. No memberships needed either.

You can find lots of great movies. Some of the most recent boy movies I've streamed at those sites are I Declare War, A Little Closer, Milo, Little Red Wagon, A Bag Of Hammers and Mud. Have fun  Wink

Thanks again! I'll give them a try! Smiley
Also, are there any other sites on the web that are similar to stagevu, where you DON"T have to join to watch or DL a movie?

I dunno, I never used stagevu  Grin You don't have to join any of those sites I listed though, and you can stream DVD movies without having to download. The trick is finding a host on the list of links for whatever movie you want to watch that is working and fairly fast. If it takes more than 30 seconds for a movie to start try another link  Cool

And again, don't use a host that wants to install anything, like "you need our HD player to view this". If the movie won't play, try another link until you find one that works as is. And watch what buttons you click on the actual file host site. Usually the colorful big buttons that say "Play" or "Download" or "Watch in HD" are fake and want to install a media player or download manager that turns out to be Adware/malware. The button you really want to click to play the movie is usually small and ugly  Roll Eyes And with adblock+ sometimes you have to click the movie window 2-3 times before it actually starts playing. If you don't have adblock+, each click would pop up an ad  Tongue

I'm going to try to get Arcadia - although the streaming site didn't seam to want to stream for me.  No problem: I still have "I declare war" to watch, and in fact the end of "Last Ride" since I only got though just over half before I was interrupted. :/

edit: ok, just read through the revised "how to" above and I certainly didn't try several links, although I did try the one I clicked several times to no avail. It didn't offer to do ANYTHING ... just a blank screen.  Oh well.  More fiddling, although I may just try my favorite Swedish site and see if it's there.

Yes some links don't do anything, since adblock is blocking whatever it is trying to do, which is a good thing  Cool The links I have the most success with and stream fairly fast are ones from putlocker, clicktoview, novamov and filenuke, but your mileage may vary. And you can always search for the movie on any/all of the sites I listed until you find a good link to watch. It's all kind of hit-and-miss, but it's free  Wink

Well, I watched "I Declare War" yesterday and really enjoyed it... hadn't even heard of it before.  SO much gets past me nowadays Sad

I did finally manage to get my hands on "Arcadia" too - so that will be feature in the not-too-distant future.

You can take a look at my IMDB List in my sig if that would help  Cheesy I only have 235 boy movies on 3 pages (currently) as opposed to the current 3336 movies in the database here  Wink The majority of them can even be watched on those movie sites I listed.
