This is how to post images on this forum:

(Note the exactly appearance of the various buttons and file requesters will depend on which operating system and internet browser you're using. The example images below were taken using Firefox on Windows)

If an image is already on the web, you can enter the web address for the image between the IMG tags (note however that unless the image is on this server, only a link to the image will be displayed to prevent taking bandwidth from another server):

Alternatively, images can be uploaded directly to your account on this server using one of 3 options:

Option 1:

If you only have 1 image to upload, you can use the file attachment option. Click on the browse button to select your image file:

The chosen image will then be listed as part of the message box and will be added when you click the "Post Message" button:

There is a size limit of 750kb on uploaded images.

Option 2:

The second option is to using the Image Upload tool. Click on the "Image Upload" button and a second window will open where the upload tool will be loaded. Note this tool uses Java, so you must have Java installed. Java can be downloaded from (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Browser to the folder where your images are and select in the right-hand panel the images you want to upload. Note you can upload multiple images. Click on the "Add" button and the selected images will be added to your upload list. Click on the "Upload" button:

Click "Yes" to start the upload, and the images will be uploaded. A confirmation will appear when the images have been successfully uploaded:

Click "OK", and the relevant code will be shown in the window which you can then copy-and-paste to your message:

Option 3:

The final option is to add the image or images you want to upload to a zip file (various tools are available for doing this: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) )

Click on the "Zip File" button and a second window will open where you can select your zip file:

Click on the Browse button to select the zip file:

Click on the "Upload Zip File (.zip)" button and the file will be uploaded.

Any image files in the zip file will be extracted (other files will be ignored) and the relevant code will be shown in the window which you can then copy-and-paste to your message:
