Blu-Ray Releases

I wonder if anyone is as interested as I am in hearing about Blu-Ray releases for BA movies?

I'll start...

Le Jouet (1976) with Fabrice Greco has just been released on Blu-Ray.

This film was of course also remade in America as The Toy (1982) with Scott Schwartz, which is also available on Blu-Ray.

The Toy (1982) was filmed entirely on location in and around the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana! The Bates Mansion was actually the Governor's Mansion! The scene where Eric and his "Toy" stop and get off of their gas Gocarts and are standing along a brick wall, the brick wall is the "Old Armery"! The scene where they are at the old canon, it is a real canon from the Civil war, I had a picture of my Sister and Brother sitting on it, taken around the time that the movie was, give or take a few months.

Yes, please post more.  I have ordered a copy of Le Jouet (1976).

Cheesy

Two others that come to mind are The Monster Squad (1987) with Andre Gower and
The NeverEnding Story (1984) with Barret Oliver.

I didn't know that The Toy (1982) starring Scott Schwartz and Jackie Gleason was filmed in Louisiana.
Learn something new every day.

Svenska Filminstitutet released a number of films on Blu-Ray recently...

Nils Karlsson Pyssling (1990) is quite a good transfer...

Talking of the Neverending Story, although his part isn't that big Noah Hathaway is in Battlestar Galactica (1978) and it is out on Blu-Ray.
