Drive (2001) is a short film by Danny Goldfield produced at the AFI Conservatory as a fulfillment of a Master of Fine Art Degree.

Stars Evan Sofro as 'Noah'

Plot Summary: Noah is a little boy that has a crush on the older girl who lives next door.  Fortunately for him, she regularly babysits him.

Noah also loves video games (what kid doesn't?), especially car driving games where they jump over cars and canyons and do other stunts.

One night she is babysitting Noah.  She invites her boyfriend over.  He doesn't want to sit around playing dumb car driving video games.
So they decide to go to a party across town and bring Noah along.  Noah is very excited to be riding around in a hot-rod Ford Mustang.

At the party, the babysitter and her boyfriend slip off together and leave Noah alone who happens to find the car keys laying on the table.

He drives back up to the top of the hill overlooking the house where the party is and comes barreling down the hill jumping over several of the cars parked at the house.

He's banged up pretty good, the car is totaled, but he did it.

Runtime: 13:53

I don't know what year of Mustang he drives in the film, but the toy one he plays with on the floor is, I believe, a 1968 Fastback GT! my personal favorite Mustang is the 1967 Fastback! Grin

Embarrassed

I know, I've been looking all over the web to locate it, but no luck yet.

It's a terrible shame that not many people have seen this short film

because it is very good and the acting is excellent.

Will post a link when I find it.
