Wow!  This film looks really interesting (and it's highly rated by BA members).

Can't wait to see it

Also stars Jude Law and Ed Harris

This was an excellent film!

Incredible cast including Jude Law, Ed Harris, Joseph Fiennes, and Bob Hoskins.

And of course Gabriel Thomson, who had a small part in the film.

Even thought Gabriel Thomson only had a small part, he was exceptional, holding his own with these heavy hitters.

Apart from Jude Law's romancing, this was a gritty war film. The boy, Sacha, played by Gabriel Thomson was asking for trouble trying to be a 'double agent' with the Russians and Germans. Though Ed Harris needn't have gone to the extreme of hanging the dear child, a smacked bottom would have sufficed.   Roll Eyes

I remember I was very shocked at Sacha's demise the first time I saw this! Shocked I could tell something bad was coming for Sacha when I saw the look on his face as he being lead away(by Harris)!
