Kim and I are the same age, There again, I never got to see very many British boyactors then or in early adult life, because I didnt have much access to them! The only reason I knew who Mark Lester was, is because I had seen him in Oliver! and Jack Wild because he was on the old Saturday Morning tv series (here in the states) called H R pufnstuf!

Right - that does it! 'bowser' knows something we don't. There is no way in all boy cinematic obscurity that 'bowser' could guess such an obscure boy actor from the photo I posted. I mean Kim wasn't even on set as that pic was probably a private one.
I think the great Captain Bowser has the cards marked and possibly, I think, the jpg number above the photo is a clue. 'Elementary, my dear Watson'.
I have the that DVD of 'Treasure Island'. I thought the film suffered from poor direction, editing and dialogue.
A much better 'Treasure Island' was the one with this boy actor in it ... and 'bowser' ... don't you dare.    Wink

I have a copy of the 1972 film.  Will have to show it on the big screen this weekend.

Do you mean you have an original celluloid copy of that film!??! Smiley

No, it's a digital copy of the film.  (I have some other celluloid films, but not this one.)
Our theater is now digital.   Smiley

We still have a projector but we don't use it because of the danger of damaging the film.
Almost all of my films have been scanned or donated to UCLA.

Wow, very generous of you! and I can see why you wouldn't want to ruin something that valuable. those old original celluloids must be worth 10s, if not 100 of 1000s of dollars! I'm sure UCLA restore the prints and put them in safe storage. The film industry is AS much apart of our heritage, as a nation, as is the Firearm, or the Automobile! and I'm glad that the people with the means to do so, are doing what it takes to preserve that heritage!

I meant to post that pic of Toby Hall which 'bowser' guessed (damn and piddlepuddles) here. So, in another attempt to beat the great Captain, have a go at guessing this blondie.

This was a tough one.  It took a while to remember.

Ben Marshall as 'Gavin'
in A Room for Romeo Brass (1999).

There's a great trailer for the film here:

You're right as usual, 'bowser'. I've just picked myself up off the floor after much hair pulling and beating on the tiles. Now I'm beginning to know how Honeythorn Gump (David Bennent) felt when he lost out with his riddle.
I thought 'A Room For Romeo Brass' was a great film. Ben Marshall acted the coloured boy, Andrew Shim, off the screen. Ben was far better looking, too.   Wink
I have the DVD and although there's a commentary there is no interview with the boys.
Interesting how this guessing game hasn't attracted any other members. I guess I'm going to have to let 'Boymoviebuff' post a pic as I have failed to beat you up till now.
