Season 5, Episode 36: The Bewitchin' Pool
Original Air Date: Jun 19, 1964
This was the very last episode of Rod Serling's Twilight Zone (1959–1964).

Plot Summary: Two kids (Mary Badham and Tod Andrews) find a secret passage at the bottom of their swimming pool to a magical land
where kids are loved by a kindly old woman called Aunt T.

Kim Kristofer Hector plays 'Whitt' - Aunt T's number one kid in the magical land where kids are loved.

Interesting note, Kim Kristofer Hector and Mary Badham (who played Scout) were both in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962).

If I remember correctly, Kim Kristofer Hector played the little boy who came over to dinner and wanted to pour syrup over his food and Scout made fun of him.

Kim Kristofer Hector reminds me of Nathan Gamble.

I bet they did.  Somebody once mentioned how kid actors would kind of 'make the rounds' among popular television shows.

This episode of T-Zone was an homage to Mockingbird.  Mary Badham and Tod Andrews accent was so thick and over-the-top that they were hard to understand.

And the ADR was some of the worst I've ever heard.  I think it may not have even been Mary Badham doing her lines but instead, a voice actor.  It's not in the credits, but it was common to loop in adult actors for children's dialog.

Also check out the beautiful photography.  Kodak film processed in MGM's own legendary film department.

Yes, I agree about the voice of Mary, she doesn't sound the same here as she di in TKAMB, so it almost had to a voiceover!

Kim in that Straw hat kinda makes him a little reminiscent of Huck-Finn! which I'd bet thats what the Director intended!
