Another Christmas DVD picked up in the cheapy shop. 'Christmas with Tucker' stars Gage Munroe one of those Canadian boy actors I had never heard of. It seems Canada teems with boy actors who never seem to get anywhere in the film world. One notable example being the great Branden Nadon.
Although Gage is mentioned under Actors 'Christmas With Tucker' isn't listed. The story is pretty straightforward with boy loves dog belonging to grumpy man, boy and dog saves man who becomes decent man. Lots of typical Americana sentimentality not out of place in a Christmas film however. What got me about the plot is how a thirteen year old boy is allowed to drive a snow plough on treacherous roads. Anybody seen this?
