Favourite "one hit wonder"?

Who is your favourite boy actor who has only appeared in one movie as a boy (or only had one major role)?

There seems to be a ton of European coming of age films featuring boys who never appeared in any other movies, so maybe we should narrow it down to English speaking actors to start with?

I'm going to suggest Freddie Boath:

He was so charismatic and such a natural in The Mummy Returns, which isn't even a great movie, but his performance elevated it to "must see" status for any fan of boy actors. Too bad he never appeared in anything else until he was much older.

Anyone else?

Nick James who starred in Hank Zipzer (2014),
the only show he is credited with which is ashamed because
he is great!

(Though he did have a very small part in the made-for-tv movie
Will: The Autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy (1982) as 'Young Liddy'.

One of my favorite actors.

Just a note: Steven King has a follow-up book telling what happened to
Danny Torence when he grew up, it's callled Doctor Sleep.

This one was an easy pick.  And just by chance, he is listed as actor reference number #1 in our entire database, easy to see why!   He appeared in two short films, but this was his only feature-length film.

edit:  Just noticed that with 15 reviews of this film on our site, this movie is rated at 9.47 out of 10.  As good as Miles was in this film, William Hurt was impressive too.

That's not actually true. Unfortunately IMDB hasn't realised that Nick James is his stage name - his earlier roles are listed under his birth name, Nicholas Fagg.

Interesting to see that Henry Winkler had a series based on his own childhood.  Was this only on stage, or on tv as well?

One other actor that did that (with HUGE success) was Linwood Boomer.  He was originally Mary's blind husband Adam on the "Little House on the Prairie" series, and he produced the show "Malcolm in the Middle" based on his actual childhood.

Peter Ostrum decided not to continue as an actor after Willie Wonka, he said he really didn't care much for the riggers of acting and he had other interests he wanted follow, he became a Veterinarian.

A one off? Why that has to be His Cinematic Highness Jordan Christopher Michael in 'Motorama'. His performance was worthy of a BA Oscar.   Smiley

From what I've read about 'Agostino' it appears to be quite an interesting film in more ways than one.   Wink
Can't say I remember 'Blue Jeans' but then I'm not too knowledgeable about foreign films. However, 'Brestskaya krepost' ('Fortress of War') I do have in my DVD collection. Kopashov was amazing and great in the film though it suffered from the all too black and white image Russian films tended to portray of the War ... Russians whiter than white and Germans blacker than black.
Another fine Russian film was 'Ivan's Childhood' starring Nikolai Burlyayev. It's opening scenes of Nikolai are truly beautiful and I don't think the boy made any other films.
