From a very good film ("The Notebook).  It's also known as "Le Grand Cahier" and was a surprisingly realistic film.  There have been so many made during this same setting / time period but in this one the story is excellent and there are some surprises in the film too.

Ever since seeing Anne Bancroft in the tv movie "Homecoming", this movie and the grandmother made me think of her (to a much larger level of socially outcast and unattached to her grandchildren).

Excellent film and the twins were believable to say the least.
