Just bought the DVD of 'Believe' released in 2014 and starring Jack Smith. A typical British movie of a ten year old soccer mad boy who wants to play for a local boys team. Set in 1984 their manager ends up being none other than Sir Matt Busby played by Brian Cox. A lot of the plot is the usual stuff of boyish trials and tribulations but it's an all round fun film with quite a number of supporting boy actors in it. Interesting to note the shorts the boys wear in the film are the proper type from the 80s whereas, in the DVD extras during rehearsals, they wear the modern day droopy bloomers. The DVD cover is quite impressive:

This is Jack Smith who is very good with the ball.

These are the rest of the boy cast though the plot has to accommodate present day PC and have one of the players a GIRL.

Indeed it is a delightful movie. I have watched and loved it. Maybe just because I like football and footballers.  Smiley Smiley
