There's something that's been bothering me about the database ever since I came across it years ago. When an actor in the database is credited with a part in a movie when he was over 15 years of age, he is referred to as "ALUMNI". But this is an incorrect usage. "Alumni" is the plural - the masculine singular is "Alumnus". A person can't be an "alumni", because he can't be several people at once, and in fact "an alumni" is grammatically meaningless. He can, however, be an alumnus. Is it possible to change every instance of ALUMNI in the database into ALUMNUS ???
