This Yugoslav WWII film was restored for last year's Cannes festival. An American soldier comes across two war orphans in Slovenia, where they set out to find refuge with the boy's uncle in the 'valley of peace' -- a remote piece of land supposedly outside of the scope of war. Beautiful but sad film. Star Tugo Stiglic is the son of the film's director, France Stiglic.

Reads like it could be an interesting film. We need lots of peace valleys in this world. Tugo Stiglic looks great and even better in those neat shorts.
