Frankie Darro - possibly my favourite actor of all time, certainly in my top 5. Here's a picture of him aged 15 in "Tugboat Annie" (1933). I've seen at least a couple of publicity photos for this film which show Darro shirtless - but in fact, they're a complete con - he doesn't actually appear shirtless in the movie itself! What a swizz!

Never heard of this actor before but he's certainly well built for 15. I wonder who took the publicity photo with Frankie shirtless when he didn't appear in the film that way? Some 1930s teen lover possibly at a time when the world was your oyster for that sort of attraction.
