Just so you all know, I am no longer a database administrator, so you'll have to rely on others to add your suggestions. I flounced off in a huff due to certain editorial disagreements. But I think I was probably winding down anyway.

With regard to the disagreements, it was actually all rather cordial. I simply explained to Quantum what my problem was, and requested that he cancel my status as an administrator. I didn't burn any bridges, and if I asked - pretty-please-with-a-cherry-on-top - to come back as an administrator, I suspect I'd be readmitted. But (a) Zabladowski et al seem to be doing the job quite nicely, so it is probably unnecessary, and (b) I really am working on some other projects right now, and having to work on the database would be an unwelcome distraction for me at this moment. But thanks for the supportive words, which are much appreciated!
