I have to say 'Children's Island' looks very interesting, more interesting if the girls are put in a boat and pushed off to sea. Who's the blond guy in the nice khaki shorts in the front row, third from the right?  Cheesy

Thanks, 'diogenes'.

I'm not sure, I'm afraid, because, apart from the three principal boys, the other boy actors are simply listed in the credits without specifying which characters they play, which is most annoying.

I've added a Gallery for "Hopelessly Lost", the wonderful Soviet version of Twain's Huckleberry Finn.

Below are a dozen screencaps from the Gallery. At the time of writing, there's a seller on ebay UK (movie_at_2000) who is selling DVDs of this film with English subtitles. The Gallery images are from this DVD. As you can see, the picture is gorgeous.

(By the way, I am aware that there's other stuff waiting to be added to the database. I'll get on to it in due course!)

A wonderful achievement. I would never have thought there could be so many boy actors out there. Long may it continue.   Smiley

Thanks for the encouraging comments. It would be even more encouraging if people left more reviews or ratings. I sometimes feel that I'm doing all this for nothing and that I should give up. The only thing keeping me going right now is the hope of getting the movies up to the magic number 5000.

Thanks to hosenhaus for the "Brightburn" gallery - I'm definitely going to have to see this movie!

I'm going to be hideously busy this weekend and probably the first part of next week, so might not have time for more additions to the BA database for a short while - but will be back asap!

(In the meantime, why not post some reviews/ratings for movies/TV shows already in the database - I always enjoy finding out what others think. Many thanks to Carl and Gueppier for their recent reviews.)

Still phenomenally busy, but hope to find time for updates at the weekend.

In the meantime, here's a newspaper clipping of actor Gary Warren.

When I saw Gary Warren's picture I had a feeling he was the boy who starred in 'The Railway Children'.
I never knew the head boy in 'Whacko' was called Taplow as in 'The Browning Version'. Well, we all know what Jimmy Edwards liked, don't we?    Wink

Thanks, 'diogenes'.

Added "Uzly a pomerance" ("Scent of Oranges", 2019) to the database - thanks to peberl2000 for the suggestion. I hope the film comes out on DVD/blu-ray with English subtitles sometime.

Below: Tomás Dalecký from "Scent of Oranges":

I also polished up the Profile page for another actor who appears in this film, namely Anton Petzold. I've added a note to his Profile, explaining the Profile picture - I hope people appreciate my, um, sense of humour!

Finally, I've added Tobiás Pekný to the database, who plays Little Darek in a flashback sequence in the movie.

Apologies for the relative dearth of activity in terms of adding things to the database - I've been a little preoccupied of late. However, I shall get back to things soon.

I have recently seen a 15-minute sneak preview of the new Ivan Noel film Lamb of God, and it looks amazing.

I've updated Landon Edwards' Profile picture - his new, improved portrait is from "Lost Child" AKA "Tatterdemalion" (2017), which I obtained a digital copy of recently and will watch quite soon. Looks quite interesting.
