Dennis Joel Olivieri was a small screen actor who starred in 1959's short-lived Betty Hutton Show (also known as Goldie). The writing was rather subpar -- due to the writers' strike at the time, apparently Hutton herself stepped in to help edit and write for the show. But most reviewers I have seen say that Joel's acting is a highlight and the best out of the cast.

Dennis had minor roles in several other shows and a few movies. He continued working through his teen years, switching from using the name Dennis Joel to Olivieri, and was the star of another one-season wonder, The New People, during the 1969-70 season.

He also dabbled in the music industry. In 1962, at age 15, he recorded a few tracks for Tape Records. In 1969, he released an experimental folk album, Come to the Party.
