Set in the late 19th century, the show centers around Corky, a boy who loses his trapeze-artist parents in an accident and is 'adopted' by the circus crew, led by Big Tim Champion. He serves as the waterboy for the elephant Bimbo. Ricky Vera and Ken Osmond are among those in guest starring roles.

Hard to find, there are a few clips on YouTube and some purporting to offer the complete series on DVD, at a steep price.

I remember watching this on my uncle's 14 inch B&W TV in the 1950s. Corky the circus boy was my first heart throb as a boy.

Added to database. I've put the dates of the series as 1956-1957 for the time being, because the last episode was transmitted in December 1957. The 1958 date refers to the repeat of the series, and I think the dates in this database ought to refer to the first transmission of the episodes rather than to later repeats. But I can amend the page if anyone feels differently...
