Anybody heard of this Disney film going to be released early next year? It's about some boys in the Hitler Youth and a kind of spoof on the whole darn thing. It stars Roman Griffith Davis (who isn't even listed on BA).

I really enjoyed this film! Roman Griffin Davis is a great actor, especially given the tricky balance of humor and tragedy in this story. There's a definite Wes Anderson vibe here, and a WWII film from a different vantage point was refreshing.

I do not understand your question.  This was filmed in the Czech Repulbic.  Presumably (1) because it has locations that look like WWII Germany and/or (2) because it is cheaper than filming in Hollywood.

I think I know what you mean: why was the country of production on the movie Profile page listed as USA (until I altered it just now, that is)? The answer is that I was relying on the Wikipedia article on the film, which characterised it as an American film. However, further investigation reveals that the production companies behind the film are Czech and New Zealander. Pace Wikipedia, I cannot find any evidence for this being an 'American' film. I have therefore amended the film country. Thanks for pointing this out!  Smiley
