I just watched the Amazon's TV series Tales From the Loop (2020) where Duncan Joiner is in several of its episodes playing the role of Cole.

You may want to consider this in his filmography.

I've watched episode 4 ("Echo Sphere") of "Tales from the Loop" and I was very impressed by the unsentimental treatment of the subject - a young boy's grief over the impending demise of his grandfather. The episode didn't dodge the awfulness and finality of death, as most US shows do, through suggesting a post-mortem existence - indeed, it poured sceptical water on the idea. Americans are, in general, a sentimental lot, and find it difficult to believe that the universe does not exist for the benefit of the puny little bipeds who crawl around on this speck of dust torturing and killing each other, so this was a particularly impressive aspect of the episode. I shall watch further episodes in due course. Meanwhile, I've been moved to order a copy of the art book which inspired the series! (Front and back cover below.)
