A birth was registered for a Dylan Matthew Duffield in June 2003 in Newport, Shropshire. It's likely this is the same Dylan.

Thanks for the research! Duly updated. In our earlier discussion of Richard Tolan ( (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)), you mentioned that the actual birth could be up to 42 days before it's registered, in which case Duffield might not have been born in June (though he was definitely born in 2003). Is this correct?

It is correct. The early records only note the quarter that the birth was registered, but by the time Dylan was born, they were recording the specific month (I'm not sure exactly when that changed). But he could have been born in May (or even the very end of April) as well as June. Without sending for his birth certificate - which would be a bit much to be doing - I can't be certain.

The record does also show his mother's maiden name, which is why you should never use that as a security question Smiley
