The link above has a Quicktime 7min music video well worth a look. It can easily be downloaded in full by right clicking on the download link and selecting 'save target as'

It shows a boy (about 13 years old) sitting on a jetty with a couple of dolls in his hand that he has fished out of the water.  The boy's father knocks him over and snatches the dolls from his hand flinging them back into the water.  Another boy sitting on the opposite side of the jetty rescues the dolls and later on returns them to the other boy.  We then see the boys playing in a soccer match and toward the end of the video the two boys end up on the ground in a passionate lip-locked embrace.  The father is again horrified by his son's behaviour and rushes onto the playing field dragging his son away...

Quite a startling video...  

Oh yeah, Cal!   Well worth it!

I'll have to look for more from this musician, if he feels this way.  Gee, that's one of the most powerful little clips that I've ever seen...

is it confirmed that the two boys kissing are boys?

i've heard that one of the boys is a girl.

the group thought it might create too much legal/ethical trouble for two boys to share a gay kiss.

so they advertised in an icelandic newspaper for a boyish girl to take part!!

I did think one of them looked like a girl.

Whether it is a boy or not playing the part, it's clear that both characters are boys. They seem to play soccer in an all-boy soccer team. Although perhaps the fact that one of them seems to be wearing make-up is a bit strange, given the context.

Oh, I wish nobody had told me about this. I hope it's not true, actually. I thought the video was very brave and subversive. After watching it a couple of times, it has become my favourite by the band.

But if they really did chicken out and cast a girl in one of the parts, that's really lame. And rather than being brave, it's actually stupid and cowardly. It totally ruins it for me.
