The Real life account of Brit TV actress Coral Atkins who decides to open up her home for homeless kids. She struggles against the ineptitude of the social services, balancing her TV job with her ever growing household, and the incredible demands of kids who need the love every child deserves. It eventually become too much for her and she suffers an emotional breakdown. Thankfully she has some great support from her small band of friends and her young son Harry (Joe Gunn) who despite the occasional moment copes very well with the huge changes that he's had to face.

There are three or four boys in this movie but they are not the central characters. However I think there is enough boy content to qualify this movie for inclusion here. It is a very good TV movie and I'd recommend it.

Check IMDb for more details.

My movie rating:  8/10
My boy movie rating: 7.5/10

I made these caps from a cable TV broadcast.

What nice caps. Smiley

I do hope to get to see this one someday. It's for sure that boys as cute as these wouldn't remain homeless for very long if any of us here had a chance to take them in. In fact, I'd just tell social services to "stay out of it".  Smiley

Love,
Sir J

Thanks Cal,

A new addition for my list; I had never even heard of this one before, but I'll be looking for it now.
