You know, sometimes the best cheerleader is Dad. In this "Discover" credit card commercial, Dad is trying to find out where Junior's prowess lies.

Let's look in on the quest. (Select the thumbnail image to see the full-size picture.)

"Okay, here's my credit card. Can you help me outfit Junior with some swimming gear?"

Now the test. Is he a little dolphin?

Hmm. We don't see the outcome in this next shot, but clearly, Junior is not quite so confident.

Hey, what a nice little montage, devon. Thanks!   Grin

Now I don't feel so bad about the jumping up and gloating at the nephew's football game last night.  Yep; he was MVP for the night.   Kiss

Love,
Sir J

Those are cute, devon.  How I would love to have a boy whom I could indulge & support wherever his talent or passion lie, whether it was skin diving, knitting, baseball, drawing...or maybe even writing.

Tell you what ... if you're rich, I'll let you adopt me. Course I'll have to change my address where they send my social security pension check ...

Hmm.  Well, I'm not rich but it would be nice to have two SS checks in the family  Roll Eyes  But I wonder if the adoption procedure would screw that up?  Tongue
