Worlds Apart -- National Geographic Channel

Airs on Mondays, repeats during the week.  Watched some episodes I had taped, and I am finding it interesting.  Basic concept of "Frontier House" -- they take an American family and move them for a week with some rather primitive culture somewhere.  It's done with humor, yet has a serious side, too.  Does focus on "we" being rather spoiled.

Did I mention there are almost always cute boys in each episode?

I thought this week's episode, featuring Marshall, 11, and Taylor, 9, going to Malaysia, was especially interesting.  This isn't a "philosophy" site, so I'll leave it at that.

The videographer certainly seemed to like Marshall's knees.

Geography really is an important science, you know. Thank you for this edifying set of shots.

Another channel I don't get, so thanks wwaabbiitt! Very nice shots.

Now THERE is something I have in common with a boy on TV - I have a scar on my knee in almost exactly the same place.  A very OLD scar Wink

I get that channel but of course the screening schedule is different. I'll definitely keep watching out for this one...

...thanks for the alert.
