That looks great, Cameron. You're doing a really amazing job with these TV listings. I wish I had access to all those channels! But even if I don't, I still find it interesting to see what movies you are flagging for people to check out. Every once in a while I come across something of interest that I wasn't familiar with.

My only question is about the time the movies are showing. It doesn't seem to be indicated anywhere in your new format. Was this on purpose or did you forget?

Oops,

Thanks, gotta add that in.

Also, all these movies aren't necessarily my recommendations.  I'm listing every movie with a boy that I can find.

Thanks for pointing out my goof!

I like it, too!   Grin

Hey, I have a question about the times, since you're going to be adding them to this:

Is it possible to put the times over to the left on the top line of each movie listed, with everything else indented a couple of spaces, just as it is written now?

That would make it real easy to browse down the list if someone is sitting down in front of the tv on say a Wednesday night at about 8:00, and they wanted to do a quick check of your movie listing to see what's playing at that exact time.  It would just make it a lot easier to scroll down to the right time and day (oh, I guess the days would need to be divided up with a listing on the left, too, huh?).  I do use your list like that quite often.  Smiley

EXAMPLE:

**************************
Sunday, Jan 4 2004

ACTORS: Scott Terra as 'Dylan', etc., etc.

Hehe.  I made up those times.  Smiley

I like that.  Since the list is date driven and not movie driven, there's no reason not to put the time first.  I'll experiment with that idea sometime soon.  Maybe not before the weekend.  Meaning maybe not before the next listing.

The times to the left is absolutely no problem.  The indenting might be.  I used to indent some lines here.

I'm trying to get one format that works on the various forums to which this gets posted.  Unfortunately they all seem to do different things.  Stephen's is the worst.  His script definately strips leading blanks rendering such formatting (at least with everything I've tried) impossible.  It also seems to add blank lines in the most peculiar places.  I think this forum doesn't.  Maybe I can put the blanks in and just let them get stripped when they do.  Anyway, like I said I'll give it a try.

Nope, the indenting doesn't work here.  I've tried indenting with both spaces and tabs and they all get stripped.  Every line is left justified.  I thought it used to work here.  Maybe there's been a change.

Well I can and will put the time on the far left for each movie.

Oh, actually, that indentation didn't work for me either, when I first tried it.  I had to click on the bottom righthand button at the top of this Reply window that does "Insert List", and that's why that little black dot showed up.  Shocked

It wouldn't matter too much about that, anyway. I think it would be easier to read just having those times on the left  Smiley

<i>I tried the "insert list" and it didn't make any difference.</i>

Oh yeah, I forgot.  I had already manually indented each of those lines before I put in the "insert list" tags.  It didn't work when I just indented the lines by themselves, though.  I didn't know if it would have worked with just the "insert list" tag by itself, either.  It would probably be way too big of a chore to try to manually indent lines, anyway, so I'm just looking forward to seeing how easy it will be to browse with the times listed on the left side of the top line if you do that. Smiley

Thanks immensely for all of your efforts, Cam!  :bigok:
