Didn't see it in the archives here so wanted to see if anyone else saw it.It stars Peter Tambakis as Michael devlin a young boy who witnesses a beating of a jewish store owner by a punk,Later be befriends a rabbi and learns the Myth of the golem.Good movie great cast and young peter singing with the rabbi is really cute.It was released in June 2003.

The movie certainly deserves a profile. I saw it a couple of years ago. It's pretty good.

I read the book a few years ago, before there was a movie.  And I was thinking "This should be a movie."  So I was anticipating the movie.  But they left out practically everything!  The big finale means so much less without all the stuff that comes before, but is only hinted in the movie.  But if you have now seen the movie, the ending of the book won't be a surprise, so it won't be as meaningful either.

Anyway, I'm really glad I read the book before I saw the movie!
