	Who here has the biggest DVD or VHS collection? I know I'm a light weight but, I counted 251 DVD's. I only have 13 movies on VHS

	Never counted them all.. but if I counted movies alone, on VHS, DVD and CD... it would amount to over a thousand titles.

	DVD's and CD's I think I would have about 600 to 700 titles

	DVDs: 133 VHS tapes: 60 Movies taped from TV: 281 Archived movie files (.AVI) downloaded or ripped: 152 Total movies: 626 Give or take a few in each categories, probably. I'd say roughly one-third of these movies feature boy actors, maybe more.

	I have about one thousand original DVDs and amongst them around 400 DVDs in relation with this site but I sometimes think it is a real folly

	I have 78 dvds that got film and also got 4 dvd sets that got collections of old films and also 7th Heaven first season. I dont got no vhs no more.

	I figure I payed an average of 12 dollars a movie, which is an under estimate, but that means I've spent over 3,000 bucks , and that's not including the money I spend going to the movie theater every year That's insane!!

	I have no idea, but it has to number over a thousand VHS and DVD combined. They were taking over my home so I had to move many of the video tapes outside to a storage house. Frankly, I don't have the energy to count all of them.

	Counting just vhs tape it's only about 120. For vcd I have about 50. DVD: I think I have over 2000 movies. 10% of them are boy actor related.

	Collecting dvds is somekind of a curse: you are soon gathering dvds for themselves, as on object, and not for the movie. Owning more and more dvds becomes a goal in itself. I am afraid that I have dvds for more than a year and they are still enclosed in their plastic wrap...

	Definitely not me Rocketboy. I can't have more than a few hundred titles tops. I spend too much time and energy seeking out new films to watch to justify keeping copies of ones I've already seen.

I know I have the same situation, but I don't think it's for the reason you say. Some movies are so meaningful and such an important experience, I want to own them so they are part of me. I love the fact that I can watch them anytime, but it's not essential that I watch them right away (or even, apparently, within a year!). I might watch a rented movie much faster, but the movie I bought still means a lot more to me, even in its shrink wrap.
