Well, ABC ran "Lizzie Maguire", "Even Stevens", and others originally on the Disney Channel on Saturday mornings.  So there is hope for "The Suite Life" in the future...

Last night's episode:
"Aww, you're looking for armpit hair."
"Mom!"
"My little boys are becoming little men."

Remember the similar scene with the Torgerson twins in "Second Noah?"

Yes, I do remember. Yes, I think that scene is silimar as that show. "Second Noah" is a good show since I was younger.

The first episode has just been shown here and I'm afraid I'm going to agree with Mark...

The show stinks!

The only thing that will keep me watching is Cole & Dylan...  they get full marks for cuteness, however their acting was below par.  Certainly nowhere near as good as Jake Thomas was in Lizzie McGuire.

In fact the acting by the entire cast was very weak IMO. The script was pathetic, I didn't even raise a chuckle. Do people actually get paid to write such garbage?

My rating for the first episode  3/10

At least one thing is positive... it can only get better.

If you need a real fix of these guys, watch Disney this Friday.....a 4 hour marathon, all Sprouse and only Sprouse.

I assume they are repeating the first 8 episodes.

The Disney channel is pathetic the way they repeat the same stuff over and over again. Nickleodeon does the same... I want my money back.

Here, both those channels are in the standard package, so I don't mind the repeats at all, in fact, it lets me see the ones I may have missed before.

I was watching on "Y&R" then I saw one of the Sprouse boys plays Noah. Is it he was on that show or different? I have seen that show for the first time was so good.

I could see The Suite Life in contention for the worst show I watch every week. It's impossible to turn off the TV when the Sprouse twins are on, but the show is b-a-d.

I wrote that after the first or second episode, and I have to say, after watching every episode since then, I like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody a lot more than I used to.

The writers have done a good job of making a difference between the twins' personality, which I'm sure is helped by the natural personalities of the two.  The show has more than slapstick comedy going for it, although at its worst it still goes for a lot of cheap laughs.  But I've even gotten to like the mom and the hotel manager characters, something I never would have thought possible.  They've really got a warm side to their characters.  Mostly, the credit goes to the Sprouse twins, who get better every week.

This isn't the first time I've had a change of heart about a TV series.  I didn't like Complete Savages when that first appeared, but that turned into a favorite show (before it got cancelled after 19 episodes).  A lot of shows have gone the other way.  7th Heaven used to be a guilty pleasure, and now it's just painful to watch even when they have a good guest star.  And, I didn't think anyone could get me to stop watching Martin Spanjers on 8 Simple Rules, but David Spade finally accomplished that.

I agree...

I always knew I'd watch the series no matter what. A couple of the episodes I've seen have been a lot of fun.  It's standard Disney TV as far as the show is concerned but the twins make it well worth watching.

One cool thing about the show is the writers are not afraid to have Zack and Cody in intergenarational friendships. They always get to hang with the older staff members and guest.

I wish were a guest at that hotel.
