Anybody heard of this Canadian film? It's currently playing in Montreal, maybe other places too.

Synopsis: The film tells the story of an awkward, ninth-grade Catholic schoolboy who sets out to save his mother's life by making a miracle. To do that, he enters the Boston Marathon.

Adam Butcher plays the title role.

I don't know much about it yet joseph. It played in Toronto last September, but I'm not sure that it has crossed the border yet.
We had a brief discussion of the film last fall.

I saw this film on Saturday and I loved it. :bigok:

Adam Butcher is amazing! His character has to display the full gamut of emotions at different points in the movie. He is able to pull off comedy, drama and pathos quite well.

The audience I was in skewed elderly as this is a period piece of sorts. Think of a very coarse version of Wide Awake for an idea of what to expect.
