Folks,

I was just told about this site from a few of the other AFTI faithful....and I just want to ask, how's it going?

I just had a few questions - like who started the site and who the maintainers are.  (I think whoever you are - you're doing a great job!!!).  How long has this site been up?  I can't believe it has been up for such a while and I never heard about it.

Well, I will try to drop by every now and again.  It's great to see that we always have a place to discuss the topics that interest us without retribution or retalliation.

I am so happy you are here. For such a long time I have wanted to thank you for your web site. I have used it on a regular basis until my HD crashed and I lost your link. I hope it is still up and running.

Hi Mediajock,

Always nice to see a new poster, I recognize your nick of course and I have always participated in the AFTI end of year poll.

BA has been around since 2001, although there was an earlier version (not called BoyActors) known as Bijou's Retreat.

Bijou is the guy to blame for creating the site, he's also our technical expert. I've been onboard as the site 'manager' since mid 2001, and over the years have been assisted by a number of dedicated admins whose contribution has been invaluable.

We've stayed low key on purpose. We are more interested in harmony and simply enjoy the sharing of knowledge about movies that feature boy actors. By staying low key we've managed to avoid the fights and trolls that tend to disrupt such places as this.

Anyway I'm glad you found us and you are certainly most warmly welcomed.

Thanks for writing and the answers.

I surely can understand about staying low key to keep the peace.  AFTI is sort of going through a lot of that now with some "unwanted guests" and all.  It seems like you all have a really nice thing going here.

If there is anything I can do to help keep it that way or anything else to help with the site LMK.

Thank’s for giving me back the link and I also have a gallery on Charter. I can only put one gallery up at a time but at least I have something for now. In the next 3 months I hope to have enough money to have my own site again.

It has all of my Gulliver’s Travels with Thomas Sturridge. About half were posted here. It is also the last post I will put in a newsgroup.

For those of you that do not visit the newsgroup, this is the time to catch all of them before I take them down for a new High Definition DVD gallery (1920 X 1080 captures).

Welcome to BA, Mediajock. I'm one of the moderators here, although these past few weeks I've been busy with "real life," as some people call it, so I haven't been around much. But I do plan on being around more now that things are starting to quiet down a bit.

Thanks Joseph.  I certainly understamd what can happen when that blasted real life can take you away from the sumptuous bliss of teen-idoldom.
