	it was on tv news last night - nothing yet at google news so this is sort-of exlusive to boyactors! daniel barber has been chosen to play tiny tim! details of competition he won. The search for Tiny Tim We are auditioning for a boy to play Tiny Tim in Scrooge, The Musical. He will join one of three children’s teams and will have the chance to perform with the company at the London Palladium this Christmas. This heart-warming family story stars musical legend Tommy Steele and is based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and features stunning sets and costumes, illusions by magician Paul Kieve (acclaimed for the magic effects in the Harry Potter flms) and a fantastic musical score. To audition, simply filll out the entry form returning it with an S.A.E and recent photo and let us know why you might be the perfect Tiny Tim! 	An almost exclusive deserves an almost Pulitzer The next assignment is for someone to get a photo. Does anyone know what author has had the greatest number of of movies, or stage performances of his/her work? I'm thinking Dickens.

	there's yet another dickens adaptation about to start on the bbc. i don't know that i'll watch it. i'm all bleaked out - with a lifetime of bleak house broadcasts behind me. the best IMHO was a bbc radio serialisation in the 1970s/1980s. can't remember the exact date. The TV schedules bode well for Perth Theatre's long-awaited relaunch within the auspices of its new multi-million-pound theatre and concert hall. Perth gets its first home-produced production this season in Great Expectations. Adapted by Scottish playwright John Clifford it serves as a taster of what is to come under the new management team of creative director Graham McLaren from Theatre Babel and Ian Grieve. Their remit is to launch Perth Theatre as a formidable force in the theatrical touring and co-production market in central Scotland and Dickens is the playwright charged to rally the public. 	that's perth in scotland, folks - not the inferior australian version .. of course! ..we all know of perth in Scotland... where the bonny laddies wear skits and speak like they have a cork stuck in their throat. The Scotty 'perth' has a little 'p' too?
